As a church we support 6 charities by being champions and advocates of their work, as well as regularly praying for them and providing practical and financial support.

Bible Society works to make the Bible heard throughout the world. It publishes the Good News Bible, makes the Scriptures available where there are none, helps churches engage with the Bible more effectively, and works through the arts, education, media and politics, to make the Bible available, accessible and credible in our culture

Christian Aid is the official relief and development agency of the Church of England (and other UK churches). It supports sustainable development and provides disaster relief in 45 countries; works with local partner organisations where the need is greatest, regardless of religion, nationality or race; and runs campaigns to change the rules that keep people poor.

Family Support Work helps vulnerable children and their families in Sussex. It works with families who are in crisis and who need help to overcome multiple, complex issues and offers: home visits, support groups, drop-ins, play opportunities for children, and supported family breaks with community workers.

Friends International supports international students studying in the UK. They do this through equipping churches and volunteers to serve, minister, and engage with international students, and organising a range of social events and activities for international students to be a part of.

Off the Fence works in Brighton and Hove, and is committed to making a real difference in the lives of many that are ‘most at risk’ in our community. Their provision includes support to the homeless, women in crisis, and work with young people through their schools teams.

Sussex Pathways is a small charity working in four local prisons. It trains volunteers to work with people in prison and to support them as they leave, to help them to lead independent and constructive lives after release.

In addition to these six charities, many members of our congregation are very active in support of other local, regional, national and international charities as donors, trustees, volunteers and in prayer.
